Led by Baya Bouchaala, IEEE WIE Tunisia Affinity Group Chair and Global Star subcommittee chair, the session introduced new members to WIE’s mission, professional development and networking opportunities, workshops, events, conferences, and connection to the global IEEE community. Participants gained a clearer understanding of membership value and expressed strong interest in actively engaging with the chapter’s upcoming initiatives.

The CV & LinkedIn Mastery Workshop, organized by IEEE WIE ISTIC in collaboration with IEEE WIE FST and IEEE WIE ENI Carthage on February 19, 2026, brought together 33 participants online via Google Meet for a 1 hour 50-minute session. Led by Mohamed Hamdi Ouardi, LinkedIn’s Top #1 Cybersecurity Influencer (2025) and Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, along with Sarah Jabri, tech recruiter, LinkedIn strategist, and career coach, the workshop focused on enhancing students’ professional presence. Attendees learned practical strategies for building strong CVs, optimizing LinkedIn profiles, highlighting skills and achievements, networking, engaging with content, and connecting with recruiters. The session equipped students with actionable tips and boosted their confidence to present themselves effectively in their career journeys.

The “Mind & Meaning: A Self-Care Experience” workshop, organized by IEEE WIE ISTIC on February 25, 2026, brought together 15 participants online via Google Meet for a two-hour session led by Dr Houssem Louiz, psychiatrist and psychotherapist. The workshop focused on the connection between mental health, self-awareness, and personal growth, providing a supportive space for reflection and discussion. Participants explored self-awareness, emotional management, mindset, coping strategies for stress, finding meaning and purpose, and the importance of seeking support. The session equipped attendees with practical tools to manage challenges, foster personal growth, and prioritize mental well-being in daily life.

Leadership and Self-Confidence Workshop

The Leadership and Self-Confidence Workshop, organized by IEEE WIE ISTIC on February 24, 2026, brought together 20 students for an interactive online session via Google Meet. Led by Mohammed Ali Krichen, QA Automation Engineer at Sagemcom and IEEE IES Tunisia Section Chair, the workshop aimed to help students strengthen essential soft skills for academic and professional success. Participants explored leadership styles, the seven habits of effective leaders, time and priority management, communication skills, event and money management, sponsorship strategies, teamwork, and overcoming self-doubt. Through real-life scenarios and practical advice, attendees gained confidence in expressing their ideas, taking initiative, and applying leadership skills in projects, presentations, and future opportunities.
